About Us

Holkrans became the family farm in 1946. As the property is conveniently situated, it soon became a stopover for skin traders and travelers. Ouma Martha's home and table were always ready to passers-by with help for those in need. We, the current owners, began farming in 1981 and started an Endurance horse, and Arabian stud.

The Guestfarm vision became a reality in 2009. The idea was to provide special treatment for just a handful of guests, with the wildlife and scenery enhancing the experience. This has been realized in the current offering of two types of exclusive accommodation. As we have numerous buck species roaming around, our mission is to conserve the wildlife and make it possible for guests to see and enjoy the animals in their natural Kalahari surroundings.
